About the Role
As a Solution Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between Sakana AI's products and prospective customers. You'll design proof-of-concept implementations, lead technical evaluations, and ensure customers understand how Sakana AI's technology can solve their specific challenges.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the customer evaluation process
- Design and deliver proof-of-concept implementations tailored to customer use cases
- Conduct technical demonstrations and architecture reviews with customer engineering teams
- Create technical documentation, integration guides, and best-practice materials
- Identify common customer needs and feed requirements back to the product team
- Build reusable demo assets, sample code, and reference architectures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python and cloud platforms
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Comfort working in a pre-sales or technical evaluation context
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are strongly preferred
