About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the Enterprise team, you will build the platforms and APIs that bring Sakana AI's models to enterprise customers. You'll design reliable, secure, and scalable systems that allow businesses to integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities into their workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade APIs and SDKs for model serving and inference
- Design scalable backend systems that handle high-throughput model inference requests
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security features for enterprise deployments
- Work with customers and solution engineers to understand integration requirements
- Monitor system performance and reliability; implement observability and alerting
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust for building production services
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with API design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
- Experience with enterprise security requirements and compliance frameworks
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are a plus
