About the Role
As a Public Sector Specialist, you will lead Sakana AI's engagement with government agencies and public institutions. You'll navigate the complexities of public procurement, build relationships with key stakeholders, and develop strategies to bring Sakana AI's technology to the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for government and public sector customers
- Build and maintain relationships with government decision-makers and procurement officials
- Navigate public procurement processes, RFPs, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure products meet government standards and certifications
- Represent Sakana AI at government technology conferences and industry events
- Track policy developments related to AI regulation and government AI adoption
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with government or public sector clients in the technology industry
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements
- Established network of relationships within government technology organizations
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technology and its public sector applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are strongly preferred
