About the Role
As a Project Manager for Defense & Intelligence, you will manage the delivery of Sakana AI's solutions for government and defense clients. You'll coordinate complex, security-sensitive projects that require meticulous planning, stakeholder management, and adherence to strict compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of defense and intelligence projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
- Coordinate with government clients, engineering teams, and external partners
- Ensure all project activities comply with security and compliance requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, track deliverables, and manage budgets
- Navigate government contracting processes, milestones, and reporting requirements
- Manage risks and issues specific to defense and classified environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience with government or defense clients
- Understanding of government contracting, procurement, and compliance frameworks
- Experience managing projects in secure or classified environments
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are a plus
