About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will keep Sakana AI's business and operational initiatives running smoothly. You'll manage timelines, coordinate across teams, and ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage business and operational projects from initiation to completion
- Develop project plans, track milestones, and manage dependencies across teams
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment
- Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate when needed
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to leadership
- Continuously improve project management processes and tooling
Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience in a technology company
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are a plus
