About the Role
As a Project Manager for Manufacturing, you will lead the delivery of AI solutions for manufacturing and industrial clients. You'll manage projects that bring Sakana AI's technology to the factory floor, optimizing production processes, quality control, and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage AI implementation projects for manufacturing and industrial customers
- Coordinate between customer operations teams, Sakana AI engineers, and integration partners
- Develop project plans that account for manufacturing environment constraints and requirements
- Manage on-site deployments, pilot programs, and production rollouts
- Track project metrics, ROI, and success criteria for manufacturing use cases
- Build domain expertise in manufacturing AI applications to improve future project delivery
Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial technology
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, operations, and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Experience managing technology implementation projects with enterprise clients
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
- Comfort working in factory and industrial environments
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are strongly preferred
