About the Role
As a Recruiter, you will build the world-class team that powers Sakana AI's mission. You'll own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical and non-technical roles, finding and closing exceptional talent in a highly competitive AI hiring market.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, research, and business roles
- Source and engage passive candidates through creative outreach strategies
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and interview processes
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and drive timely hiring decisions
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future needs
- Represent Sakana AI's culture and values throughout the candidate experience
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the technology or AI industry
- Track record of hiring for competitive technical roles (engineers, researchers)
- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of the AI/ML talent landscape
- English proficiency required; Japanese proficiency required
