About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will define the product vision and strategy for Sakana AI's commercial offerings. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge research and market needs, translating novel AI capabilities into products that customers love.
Responsibilities
- Define product strategy and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and technology capabilities
- Work closely with engineering and research teams to prioritize features and ship products
- Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
- Define product requirements, write specifications, and manage the product development lifecycle
- Analyze product metrics and user behavior to drive iterative improvements
- Communicate product vision and strategy to internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in AI/ML or developer tools
- Strong technical background with ability to deeply understand AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to ship products from 0 to 1
- Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence across functions
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are a plus
