About the Role
As an Office Assistant, you will keep Sakana AI's Tokyo office running smoothly. You'll be the first point of contact for visitors and the go-to person for office logistics, creating an environment where the team can do their best work.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations including supplies, mail, and vendor coordination
- Greet visitors and manage the front desk experience
- Coordinate meeting room schedules, catering, and event logistics
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting
- Support onboarding logistics for new team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in office administration or a similar support role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Japanese proficiency required; English proficiency required
