About the Role
As Communications Manager, you will shape Sakana AI's public narrative and manage the company's communications across all channels. You'll tell the story of the company's groundbreaking research and help position Sakana AI as a leader in the AI industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications strategies across press, social media, and owned channels
- Write and edit blog posts, press releases, social content, and executive communications
- Manage media relationships and coordinate press coverage of research releases and company news
- Support the research team in communicating technical breakthroughs to broad audiences
- Manage Sakana AI's social media presence and community engagement
- Monitor media coverage and industry narratives related to AI and Sakana AI
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in communications, PR, or content marketing in the technology industry
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Experience communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Strong media relationships and PR skills
- Familiarity with the AI/ML industry and its key players
- English proficiency required; Japanese language skills are strongly preferred
