About the Role

Build and operate data pipelines and warehousing infrastructure for Iris's banking and capital markets clients. You'll work end-to-end on ingestion, transformation, modeling, and serving for analytics and downstream ML use cases.

What you'll do

Design and build batch and streaming data pipelines (Airflow, Spark, Kafka)
Model and maintain data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
Build and operate dbt models for analytics teams
Instrument data quality checks and lineage
Mentor mid-level data engineers on best practices
Optimize query performance and warehouse cost

What we're looking for

6-10 years of data engineering experience
Strong Python and SQL proficiency
Hands-on experience with Spark, Airflow, dbt, and at least one cloud data warehouse
AWS or comparable cloud platform experience
Data modeling fundamentals (Kimball / star schema / dimensional modeling)
Experience with data quality, testing, and observability tooling
