About the Role

Senior Python engineering role for Iris's data, AI, and backend service engagements. You'll work on Python microservices, data pipelines, and production AI integrations across BFSI client projects.

What you'll do

Design and build Python microservices using FastAPI or Django
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL jobs
Build production AI / ML integrations using modern Python tooling
Own performance optimization for high-throughput Python services
Mentor mid-level Python engineers on best practices and code quality
Partner with client teams on architecture and delivery commitments

What we're looking for

6-10 years of Python engineering experience
Production experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Strong SQL and database design fundamentals
Hands-on AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3) experience
Familiarity with data tooling: pandas, NumPy, Airflow, or dbt
Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication
