About the Role

Lead end-to-end fullstack delivery on Java + modern web stack engagements for Iris's enterprise clients. You'll own both the Spring-based backend and the React/Angular front-end, plus coach a pod of engineers across the full stack.

What you'll do

Lead fullstack delivery on Java/Spring backend + React or Angular frontend
Define architecture across UI, BFF, and microservices layers
Own delivery commitments for a pod of 5-8 fullstack engineers
Drive engineering standards across testing, accessibility, and performance
Engage with client product and design teams on UX and feature scope
Mentor engineers on full-stack technical growth and code quality

What we're looking for

10+ years of fullstack engineering with deep Java and modern JS framework experience
At least 3 years in a tech lead role
Production experience with Spring Boot AND at least one of React, Angular, or Vue
Strong REST API design and consumption fundamentals
Track record of leading fullstack teams to ship production software
Excellent client-facing communication
