About the Role
Decagon is looking for someone to join the Business Operations & Strategy team to lead commercial and pricing strategy. The Business Operations & Strategy team sits within the Founder’s Office, a team of high-agency generalists and ex-founders with extremely high leverage and own things like partnerships, business development, pricing strategy, AI transformation, data/analytics, growth, etc.
Your primary goal will be to accelerate and streamline our enterprise go-to-market motion - working closely with our GTM team to close deals. Initiatives will range from developing pricing & packaging strategy, to building internal deal and pricing processes, to proposal creation and negotiation across our enterprise customer base.
This is an exciting role blending strategic thinking and high-caliber execution. We are looking for highly-motivated problem solvers who combine analytical rigor with world-class relationship building skills.
In this role, you will
Work to develop and refine Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy
Own end-to-end deal strategy for enterprise opportunities, partnering directly with account executives and sales leaders to build proposals and drive deals to close
Build and scale internal pricing / commercial processes to match Decagon’s growth
Help shape Decagon’s commercial strategy alongside the rest of the Founder’s Office team
Be a thought leader in how to price agentic AI solutions
Your background looks something like this
2+ years of experience in investment banking / private equity / venture capital or high-velocity startups
Deep curiosity and desire to solve hard problems
Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them
Strong cross-functional collaborator
Top tier communication skills - both verbal and written
Even better if you have
Experience building or scaling a pricing function at a high-growth or early-stage company
Have an intimate grasp on using cutting edge AI tooling to supercharge your productivity
Data analytics skills (SQL, Python, etc)
