Who we are

JobsByCulture (jobsbyculture.com) is a culture-first job board and the home of Culture Cards, a group greeting card product for teams. The site is operated by Pradeep Mocherla (@itspradz), based in Ireland.

What data we collect

Google sign-in (Culture Cards)

When you sign in with Google to create or manage Culture Cards, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture from Google OAuth. This is used solely to authenticate you and associate cards with your account.

Card content

When you create a Culture Card, we store the content you provide: card titles, messages, recipient names, team names, occasion type, and theme selection. This data is necessary to display your card to recipients and signers.

Media uploads

Images and GIFs you upload to cards are stored in Supabase Storage. These are used only to display media on your cards.

Payments

Premium card purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Plausible collects no personal data, uses no cookies, and is fully GDPR compliant. We only see aggregated data like page view counts and referral sources.

Form submissions

When you use our support form or employer contact form, your email address and message content are processed by Formspree.

How we use your data

• Authentication: Your Google email identifies you as the creator/owner of your cards
• Card delivery: Card content is displayed to recipients and signers via shareable links
• Payments: Stripe processes your payment to unlock premium card features
• Analytics: Aggregated page view data helps us understand which pages are popular — no personal information is involved
• Support: Your email and message are used to respond to your support requests

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is described above.

Who we share data with

We work with a small number of trusted service providers to operate JobsByCulture and Culture Cards. We do not sell personal data to anyone.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking cookies. Here is what we do use:

• Supabase auth tokens: Stored in localStorage to keep you signed in. These are not cookies and are not sent to third parties.
• Plausible Analytics: Fully cookieless. No cookies are set for analytics purposes.
• Cloudflare Turnstile: May set a short-lived cookie to verify you are not a bot. No personal data is tracked.

Data retention

• Card data: Retained until you delete it or request deletion
• Account data: Retained until you request deletion
• Analytics: Aggregated only — no personal data is retained
• Support messages: Retained for the duration needed to resolve your request

Your rights (GDPR)

As we are based in Ireland and subject to GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to deletion: Request that we delete your personal data
• Right to export: Request your data in a portable format
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data

Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Supabase Row Level Security ensures users can only access their own data
• Cloudflare Turnstile prevents bot abuse on forms and card signing
• Stripe provides PCI-compliant payment processing

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
