About the Role

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join:

Airbnb’s mission is to create a world where anyone can belong anywhere. We are building an end-to-end travel platform that supports every part of a trip, grounded in trust, belonging, and human connection.

Hosts are at the center of everything we do. Airbnb creates opportunities for millions of hosts to build businesses, form relationships, and positively impact their communities. The Airbnb Community team treats hosts as true partners by fostering connection, supporting their growth and success, and incorporating host feedback into products, policies, and platform evolution.

The Difference You Will Make:

The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic communications and marketing backgrounds, as well as experience collaborating with both technical and creative teams. We are looking for a fantastic writer with a sharp eye for messaging and positioning, as well as a deep understanding of email marketing, social, in-product channels, and AI. They will bring a tremendous passion for Airbnb’s mission, empathy and understanding of our community, and a go-getter approach. This role will bring together traditional product marketing and communications skills to drive adoption for key products and features, foster host success, and engender trust in Airbnb as hosts’ platform of choice.
