See more about our culture on https://mistral.ai/careers.   What you will do     Admin & HR compliance  - Oversee daily HR operations concerning employee inquiries to ensure prompt and effective responses. - Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries. - Coordinate visas for new hires and for teams' work trip abroad. - Lead HR project with external vendors to deliver the best services to our Employees. - Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the Company’s risk by having a basic understanding of relevant employment laws. - Maintain employee handbooks.   Onboarding - Ensure we are able to onboard our new joiners the best way; any information that is relevant to our HR systems, Office and Managers. - Formalize contractual elements during all the employees’ journey (labor contracts, amendments, certificates). - Take care of our HR information and tasks and update them each time it is needed.   Payroll - Prepare and process payroll for employees in the North America region to ensure our employees will be paid on time. - Lead any process optimization initiatives (automation, providers benchmark, etc.).   HR project management - Explore, implement, and refine people-related projects, procedures, and best practices that reflect our values and foster a positive company culture. - Process optimization: Continuously improve, document, and streamline HR processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Open new countries from an HR perspective, deploying employee benefits administration.     About you   Experience - Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 8-15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally including experience in a startup or high-growth environment. - Strong knowledge of the US law & HR policy, employment regulations, as well as HR best practices. - Experience managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to retention, and exit. - A thorough understanding of local, national, and international payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance and avoid penalties. - Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive results.   Profile - Proficiency in streamlining HR processes to enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations. - Outstanding service mindset - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in HR technology solutions, such as HRIS, Payroll, ... - Hands-on and doer. - Builder mindset.     Benefits 💰 Competitive salary and equity 🚑 Healthcare: Medical/Dental/Vision covered for you and your family 👴🏻 Pension : 401K (6% matching) 🏝️ PTO : 18 days 🚗 Transportation: Reimburse office parking charges, or $120/month for public transport 🏀 Sport: $120/month reimbursement for gym membership 🥕 Meal stipend: $400 monthly allowance for meals 🌎 Visa sponsorship   By applying, you agree to our Applicant Privacy Policy.
