About the Role

About Us:

Modal provides the infrastructure foundation for AI teams. With instant GPU access, sub-second container startups, and native storage, Modal makes it simple to train models, run batch jobs, and serve low-latency inference. We have thousands of customers who rely on us for production AI workloads, including Lovable, Scale AI, Substack, and Suno.

We're a fast-growing team based out of NYC, SF, and Stockholm. We've hit 9-figure ARR and recently raised a Series B at a $1.1B valuation. Our investors include Lux Capital, Redpoint Ventures, Amplify Partners, and Elad Gil.

The Role

We have a product that engineers love, a rapidly growing customer base, and a compelling story that becomes challenging to maintain as both evolve. We need someone to tackle a significant portion of this challenge: positioning, crafting copy across all platforms, developing launch strategies, enabling sales, and creating supporting content.

You will collaborate with our Head of Product Marketing to ensure that our narrative remains clear and relevant as we progress. You'll also work closely with the Sales team to understand what resonates in deals and lead initiatives such as case studies, videos, and product updates.

Your writing will target ML engineers and technical buyers, so you'll need enough understanding to establish credibility with this audience, even if you aren't an engineer yourself. We're a product-led growth (PLG) company with an enterprise sales approach, so you'll navigate both environments effectively.
