About the Role

Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering. Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.

Events are core to how we build Cursor, and the Brand Events Team is the center of excellence of Cursor events and experiences. Our events bring company priorities to life through in-person and virtual experiences that inspire builders, earn customer trust, strengthen our internal culture, and shape how the world thinks about building with AI agents.

About the role

As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of hosted events, from strategy and concept through onsite execution and production. You’ll sit on the Brand Events team, and you’ll have a team of peers to partner with, learn from, and build together. Each Event Manager drives a specific domain, goes deep on your vertical, and is the trusted partner for your stakeholders within that vertical.

This role focuses on marketing and conferences. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, Field Engineering, and DevRel to expand Cursor’s reach, build relationships with builders, and drive enterprise awareness and product attach. You'll build new event programs from scratch and help scale community-driven experiences worldwide.
